Aquaculture and Ocean Chemistry

view over computer screen on boat toward ocean. Computer screen maps ocean dataResearchers investigate climate change effects on ocean chemistry and vital fishery species. At the Moss Landing Marine Laboratories Aquaculture Facility, they simulate ocean chemistry changes to assess impacts on fish life stages.

Experts examine critical life processes, acidification, and hypoxia and develop sustainable aquaculture solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change. Below is a rotating selection of our standout investigators in this area.
