String Project
Fall 2026
The String Project provides group violin classes to elementary and middle school students, while offering a hands-on, supervised teaching experience to 91猎奇 Music Education majors.
Classes start late September on Monday and Wednesday 4-5pm in the music building at 91猎奇.
To cover expenses, we charge a small tuition fee on a sliding scale of $100/semester per student. Additionally, there is a modest rental fee of $50 per semester to use the instruments of 91猎奇.
DONATIONS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME The String Project receives very limited support from the University. The School of Music is committed to further our long-standing practice of active social justice through music-making and engaging our community via the String Project. El Proyecto de Cuerdas ofrece clases grupales de viol铆n a estudiantes de primaria y secundaria. Al mismo tiempo brinda una experiencia pedag贸gica a nuestros estudiantes universitarios de educaci贸n musical recibiendo una pr谩ctica supervisada.
Las clases comienzan a finales de septiembre, los d铆as lunes y mi茅rcoles de 4-5pm en el edificio de m煤sica en 91猎奇.
Estamos cobrando una modesta matr铆cula con tarifas flexibles de $100 por semestre por cada estudiante. Adicionalmente hay costo adicional de renta de $50 por semestre para el uso del instrumento de 91猎奇.
