Room Reservation

The Clark 100H Meeting Room (Fishbowl) is designated as a quiet meeting space, and reservations are available to 91ÁÔÆæ Faculty and Staff, and 91ÁÔÆæ Recognized Student Organizations.  

WHEN IS THE ROOM AVAILABLE?
  • Monday - Friday, from 9am - 7pm
  • The latest meeting start time available for this room is 4:30pm
  • The room is not available on Saturday or Sunday
PROCESSING TIME FOR APROVAL
  • Most room requests are processed within 3-5 business days
  • Requests from 91ÁÔÆæ Recognized Student Organizations may require additional processing time
  • Please note that a submission of a request is not an approval
  • Be sure to allow adequate time before your event when submitting your request, as use of the room is allowed after you receive written permission (email) from EOP indicating approval
RESERVATION GUIDELINES
  • The room is in demand throughout the semester, therefore, reservations are generally limited to 2 hours per day, including setup and cleanup
    • Exceptions to this time limit may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • 91ÁÔÆæ Faculty and Staff have priority scheduling and may submit requests up to 4 weeks in advance
  • 91ÁÔÆæ Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) may submit requests up to 2 weeks in advance  
    • RSO reservations may be canceled due to business necessity; notice will be sent via email
  • Requests from non-91ÁÔÆæ affiliated individuals or organizations are not accepted and will be denied

ROOM POLICIES
  • Maximum capacity is 20 persons due to safety codes; groups exceeding this limit will be asked to leave immediately
  • Do not bring additional chairs into the room or remove any chairs, tables, or fans at any time
  • At the end of your reservation, be sure to return tables and chairs to a U-shaped setup, turn off fans, and properly dispose of all waste/garbage
  • If any equipment/items are broken/damaged during your reservation, please let EOP know immediately by stopping by the EOP Front Desk during business hours, and via email to eop@sjsu.edu outside of business hours
    • Failure to clean up after an event or not reporting any damage done to the room or equipment may result in fees charged to the requestor’s organization/department
  • Repeated violations (e.g., exceeding capacity, disruptions, leaving trash, improper setup, or violating campus policies) will result in denial of future reservations

CATERING AND CLEAN-UP
  • Requester is responsible for all catering arrangements, including setup and cleanup
TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
  • Use of the TV monitor and remote control is available only for confirmed reservations
  • EOP does not provide technical support or any cables/adapters, please bring the necessary cables to connect your laptop or device to the TV monitor
  • If needed, please arrange technical support directly with the IT Help Desk at 408-924-1530 or ithelpdesk@sjsu.edu
EOP FRONT DESK BUSINESS HOURS

Please stop by the EOP Front Desk during business hours if the monitor does not automatically display your device after connecting via cable to request use of the remote control, if you need cleaning wipes, or if the door is locked
