Selene Ramirez (she/her/ella) serves as the Program Coordinator for the Chicanx Latinx Student Success Center also known as Centro at San Jos茅 State University. A proud first-gen, queer Chicana from Sacramento, CA, she attended Sacramento City College where she then transferred to Sacramento State University and earned a B.A. in Ethnic Studies with a concentration in Chicanx Studies. She then went on to receive her M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of San Francisco. Selene is passionate about helping students succeed in their academic and professional goals and believes that by providing mentorship through a holistic and intersectional approach, it can create a welcoming and empowering space for our Latine students.
