Transfer Applicants - Spring Term 

(This information pertains to applicants who apply during the priority application period: July 1- August 31)

Application Deadlines

San Jose State University will be open for the majority of our majors for Spring 2027. The application will be available from July 1 - August 31.

Note: Not all majors are open for Spring.

Spring Term Eligibility

To be eligible for Spring 2027 admission, you must meet all admission and impaction requirements by the end of the Fall 2026 term. You may not use Winter 2027 courses to meet admission or impaction requirements for Spring 2027 admission.

If you are earning an , you must meet all admission requirements by the end of Fall 2026. 91ΑΤΖζ will honor your degree if the ADT will be completed by the end of the Fall 2026 term and matches your intended 91ΑΤΖζ degree. An updated official transcript to include your ADT conferral information is needed as soon as it becomes available.  

Note that 91ΑΤΖζ will accept grades of β€œcredit” or β€œpass” in courses completed during the Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall 2020 terms and Winter, Spring, or Summer 2021 terms to satisfy:

  • The four basics skills course requirement
  • General Education course requirement
  • The requirement to complete 60 transferable semester units (90 quarter units)

You must earn a C- or better in courses completed in all other terms to meet the above requirements.

Supplemental Application

After applying on Cal State Apply, you will be asked to also submit the 91ΑΤΖζ supplemental application by September 25, 2026. 91ΑΤΖζ will communicate with you via My91ΑΤΖζ messages about this requirement. It is critical that you set up your 91ΑΤΖζOne account and check your My91ΑΤΖζ messages frequently for updates after applying.  

Former Students

If you previously attended 91ΑΤΖζ, please know that you may have additional forms to complete in addition to the . 

If you were disqualified from 91ΑΤΖζ, you must complete the Petition for Reinstatement which can be found on the Reinstatement (Returning from Disqualification) page.
